The Middle Tennessee Fund supports organizations providing services in the areas of health and being, basic needs, primary care, education and the arts. Our funding geography focuses on Middle Tennessee counties, including Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson.
Our grant types include general operating support, program support and capital support.
The Foundation does not consider requests for support from organizations that have been IRS-recognized 501c3 for less than 36 months. Additionally, the Foundation does not consider requests for event sponsorship, individuals or their projects, private foundations, or political activities.
Capital requests are reviewed at the Quarter 2 and Quarter 4 board meetings. First-time grant applications to the Foundation are reviewed at the Quarter 2, 3 and 4 board meetings.
New applicants will not be considered at the Quarter 1 2024 meeting. "New applicants" includes new agencies and agencies returning after an 18-month lapse in funding seeing the opportunity to apply for a grant from the Middle Tennessee Fund. Please check back on this website in February 2024 for more information specific to those organizations.
