Board Engagement

Nonprofit organizations whose mission involves community health and wellness, childhood and youth development, or the arts have the opportunity to benefit from an HCA employee’s leadership and presence as a member of their board of directors.  This is a great way for HCA to create or maintain a connection with active community organizations and support their cause.  Currently, HCA employees are represented on about 150 nonprofit boards throughout Nashville and HCA supports their efforts through education, finances, and networking.

AGENCIES: To request an HCA employee for service on your organization’s board, please fill out the application form found here. Please submit to our general mailbox here.

EMPLOYEES: HCA employees can fill out a Board Member Interest Application found here. Please submit to our general mailbox here.

The Source In Action WebEx Training

On Thursday, June 28, 2012, HCA hosted a WebEx training designed to build on the skills and knowledge first shared at the HCA Annual Update in December(described below). The topics included real life scenarios in nonprofit board management and further exploration of board engagement.
