Foundation & Grant Information

As the philanthropic arm of HCA, the mission of The HCA Foundation is to promote health and well being, support childhood and youth development and foster the arts in Middle Tennessee.

In partnership with the employees of HCA, we seek to accomplish this mission by providing leadership, service and financial support to non-profit organizations effectively engaged in meeting local needs.


Organizations with a well-defined sense of purpose, a demonstrated commitment to maximizing available resources, and a history of delivering quality services and meeting objectives are highly encouraged to apply. While providing grants is only a part of our service, The HCA Foundation has contributed more than $131M in grants to over 200 organizations and agencies in Middle Tennessee since 1998.

The HCA Foundation and HCA Corporate Sponsorship Annual Update was held on Friday, December 7 in the HCA Auditorium. This update included grants and sponsorship information including our breakdown of giving for 2012 and plans for giving in 2013.

Franklin Covey speaker, Greg Link provided a presentation titled, “Leading at the Speed of Trust” to  Agency CEOs as well as HCA employees serving on nonprofit .
