The HCA Healthcare Foundation’s Middle Tennessee Fund, established in 1997, supports area nonprofits addressing community concerns related to basic needs, primary care, health and wellbeing, education and the arts. This fund prioritizes support for organizations with strong, authentic relationships with HCA Healthcare colleagues, most often reflected through board-level involvement and volunteerism.

The Middle Tennessee Fund considers grant applications from 501c3 organizations located in Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, Rutherford, Cheatham, Dickson, Robertson and Sumner Counties.

2025 Funding Considerations

At this time, all funding opportunities for 2025 have been awarded, and the HCA Healthcare Foundation's Middle Tennessee Fund is no longer accepting applications or applicant inquiry forms for consideration in 2025. Please check back in mid-December for updates regarding the 2026 grant cycle and eligibility requirements.

Agencies receiving funding in 2025 need to electronically acknowledge their grant using the Foundation portal.
